Discovered in October 2022 the Mytonia gene was reported via Michael & Ulrika Garwood of First Fleet Nigerian Dwarf goats that their import Highpoints Arnoth IMP America carried the myotonia gene. And as all the early Nigerian Dwarf are derived from First Fleet stud, Stoney Creek Farm has tested all of our stock.

Since we tested our entire herd, our goats are now Non-Carriers of the Myotonia Gene by parentage.
